You can now restrict your search by kind of material. Select “Digital forms” or “Microforms” from the Advanced search screen. Default is to search both at the same time. Please note that all filter settings will be set to default, when you use the one line search.
Another improvement, which has long been asked for: You can restrict your search for the common title of a series of surrogates by using the new search key
"reprod. series (keyword) [SRE]"
The known search key “series, periodical (keyword) [SER]” will retrieve the same as SRE but covers series and periodicals of the print version as well.
Remember: You can enter the capital letter abbreviations for the search keys (such as TIT, SRE, RPU etc.) when using the one line search.

Records from the German national database for periodicals have been loaded to the database. After detailed analysis we have discovered inconsistencies. In particular you may find institutions named as owning the master, which in reality are not the actual owners and cannot be asked to send user copies. We are working to replace this file as soon as possible.

When searching other databases or web pages of any kind you can now mark any portion of a book‘s title with your mouse and immediately search EROMM to know, whether the item has been microfilmed or digitised. To do this a bookmarklet is used, which contains a tiny JavaScript programme.
Point your mouse to this bookmarklet and save it to your list of bookmarks under the name ‘Search EROMM’ or some similar name; drag & drop is another possibility to save it. You can now mark one or several words of a book‘s title or the author‘s or publisher‘s name. When activating the bookmark a search will be made in the EROMM database immediately.
Just do a test: Mark one of the following words (Catherine ou Le trĂ©sor de la maison / Maurice Barr. - Tours : A. Mame et fils, 1899) and click on ‘bookmarklet‘.
N.B. This feature will only work, when your IP domain has been given free access or you have logged in to EROMM prior to activating the bookmarklet.
