DIN 31645 Norm for Long Term Preservation published

The DIN 31645 Norm “Information und Dokumentation - Leitfaden zur Informationsübernahme in digitale Langzeitarchive” (“Information and documentation - Guide to the transfer of information objects into digital long-term archives”) is now available in print and digital form.

The norm describes organizational guidelines for transferring information objects of an information system into a long-term archive preserving the data integrity and authenticity.
