Due to its scope on reformatted material, EROMM's database naturally contains mostly older publications. A lot of the digitized ones are freely available today and this is also true for current digital publications as the idea of open access is spreading further.
EROMM's focus will not change, but if you are looking for a nice selections of freely accessible recent publications you can check out the Guide to Open Access Journals for example.
