Putting your data in EROMM Classic will increase the worldwide visibility of your digital and microfilmed collections. The EROMM Classic database is integrated in the virtual union cataloge run by the University of Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK)) and in OCLC's WorldCat. Standard APIs facilitate the smooth integration of EROMM Classic into further search applications.

Institutions who contribute data to EROMM Classic may also take part in EROMM Request. It is a service that allows users to order use copies for a surrogate or simply ask the holding institution a question about it directly from with the database interface.

Using EROMM Request is simple and free of charge for both end-users and libraries. Once your account is set up, all you need is your email program to receive and answer requests. More sophisticated administration functionality is available from EROMM Request's web interface.

EROMM Request also has an API (HTTP-based) that allows you to plug it into your favorite Document Order and Delivery System (admittedly, this would require a little programming on your side).
